Fresh Eats: Splendid Nosh to Tuck Into this September

written by Amelia Ow September 3, 2018September 7, 2018

If you’re thinking of being woken up only when September ends, think again: we have a new list of amazing restaurants for you to check out! Feast your way into the new month, featuring an array of Spanish flavours, Japanese delights, Chinese-Indonesian specials, and more.

1. Three Buns Quayside

If you’ve frequented Potato Head Singapore, chances are you’re already familiar with the amazing burgers that Three Buns churns out. Starting their own venture at Robertson Quay, look forward to gourmet burgers, classic shakes, and crafted cocktails at Three Buns Quayside, the newest kid on the block. We’ve been hearing a lot about The Smokin’ B-Boy, where a thick, glorious Black Angus Beef Patty is packed between two thick golden buns with a generous smothering of cheese and streaky bacon. Get ready your camera for that cheese pull! Fair warning: be prepared to get down and dirty when you devour this bad boy. But hey, that’s the beauty of it.

Embark on a journey to Spain without having to take a long-haul flight as Tapas Club opens its second outlet at Vivocity, a popular destination for both Singaporeans and tourists alike. Offering the same laid-back vibe as its primary outlet, you can look forward to indulging in quality tapas at an affordable price. Returning customers can also expect to see their usual favourites here: The crispy, deep-fried Croquetas De Jamon (Ham Croquettes) and flavourful Gambas Alajillo (Garlic Prawns) are must-tries. The perfectly round Tortilla De Patatas, a traditional Spanish omelette dish is a hearty egg pancake filled with sliced potatoes. Of course, you can’t leave the restaurant without ordering Arroz Negro, a bigger-than-your-face squid ink paella. With a wide variety of booze and beautiful Spanish live music serenading you through the evening, what else could you possibly ask for?
